It happened again...

You may not believe it, but a great moment in sleep deprivation history has happened again, to some extent. To refresh, I shook a brother;s fist one time when he was wanting a bump or as my buddy Eddie calls them, some dap. Anyway, the other night I tried an experiment. I shook this guy's hand normally on the way into the building, on the the way out of the building I did what I call flip the script on him. I stuck my fist out at him and he shook my fist! I wonder if he felt the shame and humiliation that I felt when I did it. On second thought, he could probably care less since he was pretty tipsy. Chalk one up for the crackers.

A new and improved version of "The catch"

A posing session gone bad. The first picture is Brendan in his little outfit straight on, the next picture is him cillin like a big boy, the third will be titled "Slipping Through the Crack". You know how digital cameras have that delayed reaction thing" Well, I was in the middle of taking another award winning picture when he slid in between the arm rest and the back of the chair and the camera caught my cat like reflexes and stupidity all in one shot. Brendan was not amused.

2 month doctor appointment

A little update on his size. He was born weighing 8 lbs and was 21 inches long. Today he was measured at 14 lbs 1 ounce and is now 24.5 inches long. Both are in the top 90th percentile. Bottom line is he is a hoss. The nurse said "He's not fat, he's just gonna be a big boy." He was given some homework. He has to strengthen his neck muscles and learn to turn over better, so I got him on a program now. He didn't get his shots because Jessica has been sick and they wanted to make sure he didn't get sick before he got his shots. He goes back in a week. On a Dr. Joe note his hair is looking really red today and his skin looks as pale as the butcher paper. Yep, he appears to be taking after me more and more.
