Winter time blues

Man wants to ride in a wagon in December, man's got to bundle up. Except when it turns 60 degrees like it has recently. Does he remind you of anyone from a certain Christmas movie? Here's a hint. "He lay there like a slug. It was his only defense." Tough one huh?

Ole bren and Old Saint Nick

Brendan just walked right up to the old man and climbed up. He was fascinated with Santa and all his ways. He had the hiccups so this picture is about as close as a smile as you're gonna get. Pretty good Santa down there at the old Park Place Mall. He does good work. His purple chair threw me off a little, but a solid beard and some excellent Santa moves gives him an 8.4 in Santa rating. Not too shabby.

First Birthday Party!

Heck of a first birthday party here at the old Circle M Ranch. We had Elmo out the wazoo, pizza, ribs, double fisted corn for the birthday boy, and cake all up in the face. He got a bunch of toys, books, and clothes. More importantly he got the boxes all that stuff came in, which he likes the best. He also got a wagon that was crammed full of babies (with one front rider trying to eat the wagon). I think they were pushing the 250 pound limit on that thing, those boys are thick. And as you can see he properly mauled his cake as is baby tradition. His mother's OCD was put on a choke chain for about 10 minutes to complete the process. We were all real proud of her. There was about a million pictures taken so I will have to make several postings.

A difficult job

Ever try to get a baby to smile and a dog to sit still at the same time with a digital camera? Good old pumpkin knows how to get it done. Just after this picture Brendan ate all the leaves in the backyard for me. Better than raking.

Happy Halloween!

As you can see Brendan and the twins were all together for the big night. Trey was Elmo, Jake is the bee, and Brendan is the doctor. He appears to be a vet as he checks the bee's antennae and consults with Elmo about something.

Brendan's favorite politician

Any time Lucy Baxley's picture comes on the screen Brendan starts grinning real big and likes to slap her picture on the screen. So i may or may not have taped the commercial and then paused it for his viewing pleasure. She does look awfully smug in that shot, so I can't blame him. Just look at that tight, lipped smugification. No way she wins the election and I have no idea what her politics are. I'm basing my opinion on her face.

Eyetalian assault

In a horrific scene Saturday night a 4 foot Italian man was assaulted by a 3 foot baby. The Italian man, who's name is assumed to be Luig,i was heard screaming, "Ah hey! Stoppa data! Oucha ma glasses! Momma mia!" The baby used sign languange to say the man provoked him by trying to pinch him with his thumb and forefinger. Luigi's insurance representative said the mustache was a total loss.

Getting warmed up for Halloween

Here's a costume his Aunt Kay Kay got him. He's got another one for the actual day that will be shown later. That second picture is after Auburn missed their 20th tackle. The fourth one shows his favorite hobby: messing with the DVD player.

The latest

His two latest things are standing for extended periods of time and wearing shoes. Well, we put shoeS on him, but he ends up with only ONE shoe every time. He also likes to have his pocket pulled out on his pants, it's the latest in baby fashions.

Friday night party

Here's Mr. Red Sweatpants and his buddy Eli. Eli is a friend of Jessica's from work's mom, Anna. Those pants crack me up.
